Welcome To St Marys CE Primary

Welcome to St. Mary’s Church of England Primary School, Long Newton.

At St. Mary’s Church of England Primary School in Long Newton, our mission “to invest in the uniqueness of the individual” is at the very heart of everything we do. We are proud to offer every child the very best start in life through a rich and inspiring curriculum that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and empowers each pupil to reach their full potential.

We celebrate the God-given gifts and talents of every child, nurturing their individual strengths and encouraging them to aim high. Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff team love what they do and support pupils in every aspect of their development. They help shape a curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and tailored to meet the needs of all learners.

We instil in our pupils a strong sense of belief and confidence, helping them embrace new opportunities and understand that anything is possible. As a result, they experience great success and take pride in all they do.

Pastoral care is at the heart of our school. We are committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued. We also encourage our pupils to make a positive contribution to the world around them, fostering compassion, responsibility, and a belief that they can make a difference—now and in the future.

This website is an important part of how we share the life and learning of our school. It offers a window into the vibrant, caring, and ambitious community we are building together, and a celebration of the achievements and experiences of our wonderful, unique pupils.
